Worth owning for the El Mocambo material on Side 3 alone! The performances are cooking and the atmosphere is magic. This double album is a very under-rated, cool collection of live material from The Stones, recorded in Paris, London & Toronto in 1976 & 1977. Side 3 was recorded at an intimate gig at El Mocambo Tavern, the remainder being from huge stadium gigs. The four songs from the night club have echoes of the band’s earliest days, as they are covers of some Chess Records classics. The performances are cooking and the atmosphere is magic. Essential stuff!! Late great artist, Andy Warhol provided the artwork for 'Love You Live'.
