Happy Birthday, Glenn Hughes ~ unbelievably, he’s 73 today! The golden voiced, super bassist, of Trapeze and Deep Purple fame, blends funk and hard rock into a Stevie Wonder meets Led Zeppelin style tour de force ~ what a dude! He co-wrote this great song with David Coverdale in 1975 and it’s the last track on the only Deep Purple album to feature Tommy Bolin on guitar, with the late great Jon Lord (keyboards) and Ian Paice on drums.
