Very Rare & Sought After Actual 1979 Japanese First Pressing Of The Fourth Stranglers LP ~ With Amazing, Holographic 3D Cover & Complete With Highly Collectable Obi Strip!! Includes Original Uncensored Inner Sleeve With Lyrics In English & 4-Page Insert With Lyrics In Japanese. Labels Are Clean.
Only original pressings featured the uncensored lyric inner with the artwork mocking Joh Bjelke-Petersen. The image of the controversial Australian political figure had to be removed from all later versions of ‘The Raven’.
Condition – Vinyl: EXCELLENT! Side 2 has inner sleeve patterns in the vinyl, which are not audible at all. Plays NEAR MINT!
Condition – Cover: EXCELLENT! Minor shelf wear. This record cover has to be seen in person to fully view the fantastic 3D effect (Alfred Hitchcock and Edgar Allan Poe would approve).
Japanese vinyl pressings are highly sought after by audiophiles and collectors, due to their premium sound quality and beautifully presented packaging.
