Product Description
Rare Actual 1971 Japanese First Pressing With Highly Collectable Obi Strip! Heavy Grade Gatefold Cover Includes 8-Page Booklet, Labels Are Clean. The Legendary Second LP From Mountain (Leslie West, Felix Pappalardi, Corky Laing & Steve Knight).
Condition – Vinyl: EXCELLENT!
Condition – Cover: VERY GOOD PLUS! Some shelf wear, obi has creases. Really nice, for a record that is over 53 years old!
Guitarist, Leslie West gets a gargantuan sound out of his Les Paul Gibson. Bassist, Felix Pappalardi, was producer of Cream ~ Mountain has a similar dense, blues based style.
Japanese vinyl pressings are highly sought after by audiophiles and collectors, due to their premium sound quality and beautifully presented packaging. The sonic quality of Japanese records is regarded as the best in the world. No wonder all the original Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab records were pressed in Japan! The covers are printed on better quality heavy stock paper too. Original Japanese pressings are becoming scarcer ~ and therefore more collectable and valuable every year.
