Product Description

Rare Original Japanese Pressing Of The Third Kate Bush LP! Heavy Grade Gatefold Cover Features Lyrics In English. Includes Japanese Lyric Insert.

Condition – Vinyl: EXCELLENT! Light mark / minor surface noise on “Army Dreamers”.

Condition – Cover: VERY GOOD PLUS! Light shelf wear. Inner gatefold has some discolouring, due to age.

Japanese vinyl pressings are highly sought after by audiophiles and collectors, due to their premium sound quality and beautifully presented packaging. The sonic quality of Japanese records is regarded as the best in the world. No wonder all the original Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab records were pressed in Japan! The covers are printed on better quality heavy stock paper too. Top condition original Japanese pressings are becoming scarcer — and therefore more collectable and valuable every year.

    Geoff – April 6, 2015

Another confident, remarkable album from a woman who at that time, was only in her early 20s. Kate’s third LP, ‘Never for Ever’ was a number one hit in the U.K., featuring three singles that made the Top 20. Deservedly so too, as "Breathing", the magical "Babooshka" and "Army Dreamers" and are all wonderful songs. The latter is an anti-war number, as is the atmospheric, "Breathing", dealing with nuclear fallout. ‘Never for Ever’ is another confident, remarkable album from a woman who at that time, was only in her early 20s. The record cover has fantastical artwork by Nick Price, showing all sorts of birds and creatures flying out from under Kate’s skirt!
