Stein is credited with coming up with the term “new wave” and became the vice president of Warner Bros. Records.
Marvin Gaye would have been 85 today! But tragically, he was shot dead by his father in 1984, the day before his 45th birthday. Thankfully, he left a lot of beautiful songs for the world to hear.
