2023: Death of drummer, Alex Napier [aged 75]. Alex joined Spice (featuring David Byron & Mick Box) in 1969 and was a founding member of Uriah Heep. His excellent drumming can be heard on most tracks of their debut, ‘Very ‘eavy, Very ‘umble’.
2024: Death of singer, Mary Weiss, of The Shangri-Las [aged 75]. In 1964, they had a number 1 hit single, “Leader of the Pack”.
