2021: Death of keyboardist / songwriter, Michael Fonfara [aged 74]. Best known for his work with Lou Reed, Fonfara was also a member of the groups Blackstone, Downchild, Electric Flag, Rhinoceros, The Lincolns & Tycoon.
2022: Death of concert promoter / producer / manager, Michael Lang [aged 77]. Best known for co-creating and organising the 1969 Woodstock Festival, Michael was also greatly involved in the 1968 Miami Pop Festival and the lesser celebrated follow-up Woodstock events. He also managed Joe Cocker and had his own label, Just Sunshine Records.
