Phil Lynott, the Rocker ~ 38 years gone… Rest in Peace. I will never forget hearing the sad news on the radio, the day that Phil died. Back then before Internet, I hadn’t even heard that he was sick in hospital, so it was a real shock. Of course, Phil had lived life full bore to the max and was taking all sorts of hard drugs and alcohol on a daily basis. Inevitably, it all took it’s toll and we lost one of the greatest rock musicians the world has seen, aged only 36. This footage captures Thin Lizzy live in Sydney in 1978 with the late Gary Moore on guitar. Crank it up!
