2017: Death of guitarist / bassist / songwriter / producer, Walter Becker of Steely Dan [aged 67].
It’s already been seven years since we lost Walter Becker of Steely Dan. A wonderful musician, the guitarist / bassist / songwriter / producer was half of the brilliant duo, with Donald Fagen (the rest of the band was made up of top session guys). Walter left behind an admirable legacy, over several impeccably produced albums, including ‘Aja’, ‘Can’t Buy a Thrill’, ‘Pretzel Logic’ & ‘Gaucho’.
Happy Birthday to Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols. The ripper punk rock guitarist is 69 today!
