Scottish rockers, Nazareth ~ great band that delivers no bullshit rock ‘n’ roll! They formed in 1968 and are still playing gigs (although sadly, singer Dan McCafferty passed away on 8 November, 2022). It was on this day in 1999 that drummer and founding member, Darrell Sweet literally rocked ’til he dropped. He died of a heart attack in Indiana, a stop on Nazareth’s 1999 tour across the U.S. Here’s one of my all time faves from Naz, “Hair of the Dog” ~ more cowbell, Darrell!
