1982: Genesis reunited with former founding member Peter Gabriel for a one-off concert at National Bowl, in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. The show was a charity event, which saved WOMAD and funded the establishment of the Festival.

2017: Death of singer / songwriter / guitarist / producer, Tom Petty [aged 66].
2018: Death of sound engineer, Geoff Emerick [aged 72]. He was very highly regarded, mainly for his work with The Beatles on their albums ‘Revolver’, ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’, and ‘Abbey Road’).

Happy Birthday to Mr. Michael Rutherford ~ 74 today! This is a classic Peter Gabriel era Genesis masterpiece… “In the Cage”, with the glorious “Afterglow” added for good measure. Filmed in Rome on the 2007 tour. Great playing by Mike on the twin neck bass!!
