EVENTS
1963: Publicist Andrew Oldham & agent Eric Easton signed a management deal with The Rolling Stones, after buying rights to the band’s first recordings for £90.
1980: Black Sabbath began their first tour with vocalist Ronnie James Dio, who had replaced Ozzy Osbourne.
1991: Yes released their ‘Union’ album.
1993: Death of guitarist / singer / songwriter / producer, Mick Ronson [aged 46].
2020: IRIS released her debut album, ‘Unlocked’.
2021: Death of drummer, John Hinch of Judas Priest [aged 73]. John was their original drummer, only playing on debut LP ‘Rocka Rolla”.
2025: Death of singer / songwriter / guitarist, Mike Peters of The Alarm [aged 66].

Rest in Peace, Ronno. 32 years gone and sadly missed ~ what a terrific guitar player! Over the years, he worked with Mott The Hoople, Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Ian Hunter, Elton John, Morrissey, Van Morrison… but of course Ronno’s best work was with Mr. David Bowie.
