82 years ago, an exceptional musician was born on this day ~ the man who got The Stones rolling… Brian Jones! Apart from being an excellent guitarist (particularly slide guitar), Brian could play a wide variety of instruments, including organ, recorder, Appalachian dulcimer, autoharp & harmonica. “Paint It Black” was recorded in March 1966, and was one of the first instances of a sitar being used in rock music.
