Remembering Gordon Haskell today on his birthday. He was a singer / bass player, who contributed to King Crimson’s ‘In the Wake of Poseidon’ & ‘Lizard’ albums, back in 1970. Not everyone’s cup of psychedelic tea, but I really enjoy the ‘Lizard’ LP ~ it has so many layers of instruments & sounds! The production is drenched in mellotron (played by Robert Fripp), which is such an amazing instrument. Jon Anderson of YES guests on ‘Lizard’ too, but this track, “Cirkus” is sung by Mr. Haskell.
