EVENTS
1974: Yes announced that Patrick Moraz was their replacement for Rick Wakeman on keyboards.

1979: XTC released their album, ‘Drums and Wires’.
1988: Sweet announced they were reforming, after a £1 & half million offer from MCA Records.
1991: Nirvana shot the video for “Smells Like Teen Spirit” at GMT Studios in Culver City, California.

Happy 69th Birthday to Colin Moulding, the very clever bassist, songwriter and vocalist of XTC! The band also released their excellent LP, ‘Drums and Wires’ on this day in 1979. This one goes out to Nigel…
