Written by Ritchie Blackmore & Ronnie James Dio, “The Man on the Silver Mountain” was the debut single from their 1975 debut album, ‘Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow’. The song became one of Rainbow’s greatest hits and a live favourite for any Dio fronted band. Ronnie has these words inscribed on his grave stone: “The Man on the Silver Mountain ~ Ronnie James Dio”.
