1989: Tackhead played a concert at The Powerstation, Auckland ~ I was there! (The band featured Doug Wimbish on bass and future back-up singer for The Rolling Stones, Bernard Fowler).
1982: Death of guitarist, James Honeyman Scott of Pretenders [aged 25].
1994: Death of bassist, Kristen Pfaff of Hole [aged 27].
