Tony Thompson was a mighty good drummer, as heard on all those classic Chic songs and with the supergroup, The Power Station. He very nearly replaced John Bonham in Led Zeppelin too, but that’s another story. Check out his playing on this big hit from 1985… sadly, he and singer, Robert Palmer are no longer with us.
