EVENTS
1967: A package tour with Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Move, The Nice & Amen Corner kicked off at the Royal Albert Hall, London.
1979: Neil Young & Crazy Horse released the double album, ‘Live Rust‘.
1990: Record producer, Frank Farin fired Rob Pilatus & Fabrice Morvan of Milli Vanilli, because they wanted to sing on their second album.
2024: Death of poet / songwriter / singer / musician / producer, Pete Sinfield [aged 80]. Pete was best known as co-founder / lyricist for King Crimson (1968-1971). He gave the band their name, was art director (his friend Barry Godber created the cover artwork for ‘In The Court of the Crimson King) and operated the light show. Sinfield went on to produce the first Roxy Music LP and write songs with Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Gary Brooker, Leo Sayer and many more.
Jimi sure stood out in a crowd, but can you spot Mitch, Noel and members of Pink Floyd? Roy Wood is there too… the others must be the rest of The Move and Amen Corner.
Released 45 years ago…. LIVE RUST!
