2025: Death of producer, Roy Thomas Baker [aged 78]. Best known for the five albums he produced for Queen, Roy worked with many artists, including Savoy Brown, Free, Frank Zappa, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Who, Nazareth, Santana, Be Bop Deluxe, T. Rex, Hawkwind, Ian Hunter, The Cars, Foreigner, Journey, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Cheap Trick, Devo, Slade, The Stranglers, Smashing Pumpkins… and his final production, ‘Heaven and Earth’ by Yes.

Pat Travers is 71 today! Happy Birthday to a guy that has contributed a lot to the sound of guitar rock over the years, with killer riffs and great songs, like this one…
