VERY RARE & Collectable Original 1973 Japanese Pressing Of Neil Young’s First Live LP! Vinyl In Great Condition! Includes Giant Fold-Out Poster Insert With Lyrics Printed In Neil’s Handwriting.
‘Time Fades Away’ is one of the RAREST Neil Young LPs, as he deleted the album a few years after release. Apparently the album reminds him of a difficult time in his life and he did not want it re-pressed or ever put onto CD. It was finally reissued on vinyl in 2014, but only as part of the strictly limited edition “Official Release Series” 4LP Box Set for Record Store Day.
Condition – Vinyl: EXCELLENT! A couple of very light surface marks do not affect play.
Condition – Cover: EXCELLENT! Some shelf wear along bottom edge.
Japanese vinyl pressings are highly sought after by audiophiles and collectors, due to their premium sound quality and beautifully presented packaging. The sonic quality of Japanese records is regarded as the best in the world. No wonder all the original Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab records were pressed in Japan! The covers are printed on better quality heavy stock paper too. Top condition original Japanese pressings are becoming scarcer — and therefore more collectable and valuable every year.
