An adrenaline-packed, essential heavy metal album, featuring Maiden in peak form! ‘Powerslave’ is easily one of the very best albums from Iron Maiden, featuring incredibly energised songs such as "Aces High" and Two Minutes to Midnight". There's also the guitar solo packed title track and perhaps the greatest piece Maiden have ever recorded ~ the epic "Rime of the Ancient Mariner"! It is based on Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem, and clocks in at a length of 13 minutes and 38 seconds. 'Powerslave’ LP is also notable as being the first album to feature the same line-up as their previous one ~ Bruce Dickinson (vocals/guitar), Steve Harris (bass guitar, backing vocals), Dave Murray (guitar), Adrian Smith (guitar, backing vocals) & Nicko McBrain (drums).
