Product Description
Rare Actual 1970 Japanese First Pressing On Green Target Capitol Label. Heavy Grade Gatefold Cover Includes Giant Fold-Out Poster Of Grand Funk, Plus Insert! Labels Are Clean.
A hard rock phenomenon of the waning days of the Sixties, Grand Funk Railroad proved over and over that they were the live performing act of the time, and this album is a testament to their in-concert power! A raw, monster performance, with band and audience pushing one another to almost unheard heights of energy. Highlights are “In Need”, “Inside Looking Out” and “Into the Sun”.
Condition – Vinyl: VERY GOOD PLUS. Over 54 years old! A few light surface marks and fogging, none of which affect play. The music is so explosive that even if there was any surface noise, it would be of no significance!
Condition – Cover: EXCELLENT! Poster is GREAT too!
Japanese vinyl pressings are highly sought after by audiophiles and collectors, due to their premium sound quality and beautifully presented packaging. The sonic quality of Japanese records is regarded as the best in the world. No wonder all the original Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab records were pressed in Japan! The covers are printed on better quality heavy stock paper too. Original Japanese pressings are becoming scarcer ~ and therefore more collectable and valuable every year.
